What companies is PowerStore best suited for?
PowerStore is designed for use in core and edge locations in larger SMEs and the enterprise sector. The array can be used on-premises as pure storage or as a hyper-converged system. Replication in the “core” is also possible. Metro locations can be connected and then synchronously mirrored and managed as a cluster through two systems. The automation packaged with PowerStore is of particular interest to SMEs, as many companies experience difficulty finding skilled professionals in this highly specialized area.
Run VMware virtualized workloads directly on the array
Another interesting feature for many companies is the deep integration of VMware. Using the new on-board tool AppsON, virtualized workloads and software applications can be set up and run directly on the array.
